Lynic Industrial Designs Limited utilise a proprietary, advanced CAD, pipework modeling program to produce accurate 3D models of complex piping configurations for design review and development. Some examples of 3D piping models are shown below. In addition to their usefulness during the design and development of a piping system configuration, 3-D models can be further utilised to provide an overall viewpoint of a process system to assist in operator training, maintenance and construction activities. The examples below show a model viewed from different positions in plain and rendered forms. In the rendered format, colour schemes can be applied to the model to effectively identify different process systems, equipment items, materials, etc.
